Laguna Skim Camp

The Laguna camp started today. Eight young skimboarders attended and were delighted to find fun conditions down at TI. The standout of the day was eight year old Kyle who was ripping. He probably ran for over 100 waves today. For an eight year old, he has sick style. It's going to be exciting to see him progress over the week. Everyone else seemed stoked to be there. Steve Taylor helped out while good friend Lance Brooks made an appearance. Tomorrow is day 2. The forecast is looking promising all week long. Stay tuned for more action.

Massachusetts Camp

The Cape Cod skim camp went down this week. All 12 campers were stoked and progressed their skills. Today was the final day, and it was great to see all the progress that everyone made. Today's conditions were the best all week. More photos to follow soon.

Tomorrow, Saturday, will be a local skim contest down at Whitecrest Beach in Cape Cod. If you're in the area, come check it out. Skim Invasion is running the event and the waves may be really fun in the afternoon. Keep your fingers crossed that the rain is minimal.

After the contest, there will be a movie premiere of Exile Skimboard's newest flick, Stimulus. The showing will take place at a local surf shop at 8:30pm. The details will be given at the contest. Hope you all can make it.
